The PRAXIS 10+ Seminar takes place (online) in April-May 2022 with the objectives of advancing the expertise of the PRAXIS-EA/UFMG research group, of maturing the assumptions of its teaching, research and extension practices carried out over the last twelve years, of launching other theoretical and methodological perspectives on the production of the contemporary city and of sharing updated results and developments of its actions.
PRAXIS-EA/UFMG is part of the Research Groups Program of the Institute for Advanced Transdisciplinary Studies (IEAT/UFMG).

Coordinator of the PRAXIS-EA/UFMG group and CNPq researcher. Research, teaching and extension projects on contemporary production of urban space, place reading, exclusion system, shared and collaborative design processes, urban planning and design practices and technical assistance. Author of the book "The exclusion system in the Brazilian neoliberal city", published by Lutas Anticapital.
Daniel Medeiros de Freitas
Architect and Urban Planner, Specialist in Urban and Architectural Revitalization, Master and PhD in Architecture and Urbanism from the Postgraduate Program in Architecture and Urbanism (NPGAU/UFMG). Professor at the Department of Urbanism at the School of Architecture (UFMG) and at the Postgraduate Program in Architecture and Urbanism (NPGAU/UFMG). Co-coordinator of the PRAXIS-EA/UFMG group and member of Indisciplinar and Observatório das Metrópoles (BH Center) groups. He teaches and researches on the following topics: place reading, Large Urban Projects, urban design and urban planning. Sudanese/South African Architect, Professor of Architecture at the Tshwane University of Technology and Research Chair in Spatial Transformation, South Africa; she believes that the architectural profession has a critical role to play in the achievement of built environments and cities that are equitable, beautiful and lovable. PhD in Architecture from the University of Pretoria with extensive experience curating international events on architecture – the biggest having been her role as UIA 2014 Durban reporter.

Gisella Lobato
Architect and Urban Planner from PUC Minas, with a postgraduate degree in Enterprise Management in Architecture and Construction from IEC PUC Minas. Responsible for coordinating and preparing the proposal for the New Master Plan for the Municipality of Belo Horizonte. He was Information and Monitoring Manager and Manager of Coordination and Management of Urban Policy Instruments at the PBH's Urban Planning Adjunct Secretariat. She is currently Director of Urban Policy Management at the Subsecretariat of Urban Planning.
Luciana Moreira B. Ostos
Architect and Urban Planner from PUC-MG. Master in Geography from UFMG, doctoral student in the Postgraduate Program of the Institute of Geosciences/UFMG, with research in the area of land title regularization and social management instruments for land valuation.
